Want to find valuable coins and bills in circulation? Just do these tips.
1. Get coin rolls from the bank. Ask the teller what type of currency you would like. (Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters) Try not ask to get too much because if you do, you might get the stink eye! The tellers only have so much bank rolls with them. I learned the hard way, I got $40 in pennies which is equivalent to 80 rolls. I asked them for $40 in pennies and they said." pennies? are you sure?" Then I said yes please. They told me " I will be right back" so I waited and just stood their for 10 minutes and came back with 80 rolls. The next time I came was about 2-3 weeks later at the same bank and asked for $40 in pennies again. Then they said," oh sorry we don't have that much. That is more than a box." Then she said I can get you $20 in pennies instead." So if you are going to get a lot, Call your local bank, tell them what you want, place your order and the bank should call you when they have your boxes. I believe you have to go to your local bank to pick it up. When ordering, I am pretty sure you can only get in boxes. It is $25 for a box of pennies, $100 for a box of Nickels, $250 for a box of Dimes, and $500 for a box of quarters. By this method, I found 2 cud error pennies, 4 silver dimes, 4 silver Nickels, and about 42 wheat pennies.
2. Use cash to buy stuff and sometimes you get coins. When you get the coins, inspect them. See if they are silver, old, rare or valuable. I have found lots of stuff that way too. I found about 20 wheat pennies, 3 silver quarters, and a silver dime.
3. To get rare valuable bills, go to the bank and maybe get bills from your account or another way is to check your bills that you got from change.
